Synopsis Bun-Rye, an eldest daughter of her poor family, gets violated by Yong-Pal, a married man. In despair, she becomes a concubine of Young-Cheol who is impotent and indulged in gambling. Kong Jo-Shi loves Bun-Rye, but she misses Yong-Pal. Young-Cheol, losing his money, vents his anger on Bun-Rye and expels her out of the house. Kong Jo-Shi kills Young-Cheol, which causes Bun-Rye to go mad.
